We also have about 100 different beers in bottles for you to choose from. We will also dazzle you with a great selection of Whiskeys, some of the best Tequilas and other Beers and Spirits from around the world.

Dolden Mädel (Umbel Girls) – Beautiful, angelic women who harvest hops wearing nothing but a fig leaf. They brew our beer in centuries-old tradition while singing and dancing and thus provide an unforgettable drinking experience.
Whoever believes in that hopefully has drunk too many of our fine beers already!
The truth is, at the hop harvest only female plants are considered for the beer production. The Dolden is the flower of the plant that is used for brewing beer. And that’s how we came up with our name … Dolden Mädel Brewery.

But now … enough of the forewords … Come over, eat, drink and have fun!

That way, we’d be able to converse with the beer drinking community that has done so much to help us create our creations, and it gives us an outlet to talk about beer and the brewing process. Wir sind eine kleine Hausbrauerei in Berlin-Friedrichshain, die seit 2008 ihr Bier in der Nähe des Boxhagener Platzes braut. Unser Ziel ist es, die Berliner Bierkultur zu bereichern. Neben traditionellen Biersorten wie z. B. Pilsner, Dunkel undWeizen, brauen wir fast wöchentlich Spezialbiere.

Wichtig ist uns die Vielfalt. Wir probieren gerne neue Zutaten. Speziell verschiedene Hopfensorten, wie z. B. die deutschen Flavour Hopfen, oder die oft extrem fruchtigen US-Hopfensorten geben dem Bier die besondere Note. Diese Kombination aus traditioneller Braukunst und innovativen Bierstilen ist unsere Philosophie.

Um den natürlichen Geschmack zu unterstreichen, filtrieren wir unser Bier nicht. Genausowenig wie unseren selbstgemachten Cider, der im Fass nachreift und ebenfalls naturtrüb ausgeschenkt wird.

This is an independently run rock craft Beer bar for seasoned enthusiasts and occasional drinkers alike. At Monterey Bar you’ll find one of the most relaxed and intriguing bars in Berlin and it’s certainly not your typical line up on the taps.
